Application area

High level disinfectant for medical devices: surgical and medical equipment, endoscopy equipment and heat-sensitive equipment.

 

Instructions for use

Two-component-solution for professional use. Ready to use after activation.

Before the first use, wait at least 30 minutes (time required for activation of the product). Carefully clean and rinse the medical device before soaking it in ANIOXYDE 1000 (activated solution).

Check the peracetic acid level with a ANIOXYDE 1000 testing strip at the start of the session, when restarting after an interruption and every 4 hours of consecutive activity. Maximum storage of the soaking bath: 14 days (except France - 7 days maximum acc. French regulation)

1. Pre-disinfection step: Clean the medical device with a detergent or a pre-disinfectant product. Rinse thoroughly. For endoscopic equipment: brush channels.

2. Disinfection step: Pour the activated solution (see activation procedure on the label/ protocol). Cover the basin. Respect the minimum contact time. For endoscopic equipment: make solution circulate inside channels. Do not add any product into Anioxyde 1000.

3. Rinse thoroughly with sterile or filtered water (0.2 μm) to eliminate any trace of the product. For endoscopic equipment: the internal and external parts of the medical device.

4. Dry with a single-use towel. Keep the medical device as aseptically as possible up to use it again.

Ingredients

Extemporaneous production of peracetic acid from the acetylcaprolactam (PHERA® system), Anioxyde 1000 Generator containing 3% hydrogen peroxide.

 

Storage

Dangerous. Respect the precautions for use (drawn up according to the European rules in force regarding the classification and labelling of chemical products).

Storage: between +5°C and +25°C. Store upright.
